art school is that of Mr.Frank Calderon, son of a member of the British RoyalAcademy. The headquarters are in fashionable BakerStreet, London. The school year is divided into three termsof about twelve weeks each, commencing in January, Apriland October. Classes are held for drawing and paintingfrom live horses and dogs, as well as casts of all kinds, stilllife, and also from the human figure, both nude and incostume. Lectures by the most eminent living authorities are ar-ranged on art and anatomy. But the moment the sun re-turns in the spring the entire school is moved down into thecountry. It is in the little village of Finchingfield, Essex,not far from the Countess of Warwicks beautiful place atEaston, that Mr. Calderons school is found during thesummer months. His headquarters are established in a beautiful ramblingold country house covered with honeysuckle, purple Bou-gainvillea, and vines.
