Description "ETO HQ 45 2462 24 Feb. Credit U.S. Army Signal Corps. Photog...T/3 Heimberger [Illegible]. First Army engineers connect two sections of treadway bridging, while overhead a quickway crane swings a new ponton [sic] into position during an attempt to span the Roer River on second day of Cologne drive. Enemy artillery later halted the work. Co. C, 297 Eng. Bn., Duren, Germany (15)." Censored by SHAEF Field Press Censor on 27 February 1945.
