Summary[edit]

Description American Fire Insurance Company Building at 308-310 Walnut Street in the Society Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia was built in 1840 as a city house, and later converted into a commercial building. It was renovated in 1881 by Furness & Evans; the same architectural firm that added the two top stories in 1886. (Source: Philadelphia Architecture: A Guide to the City (2nd ed.)) Now the Polish-American Cultural Center.
