Description
English: Amberley Wild Brooks SSSI Amberley Wild Brooks is an extensive area of alluvial grazing marsh, dissected by numerous drainage ditches. It was designated as an SSSI because it supports a rich flora containing one nationally rare plant. The numbers of over-wintering birds are nationally significant, with over one hundred different species being recorded, and the site also has a diverse community of breeding birds, with nearly sixty different species being noted. Several uncommon invertebrates are present including a large number of different dragonflies.
