Description September 15, 2020 Ambassador Miller met with Humphrey Fellow alumnus Mamunur Rahman founder of award-winning social enterprise Ella pad and most recently of Ella Mask, and visited one of the women-owned/operated home business/small factory producing the biodegradable Ella Masks. Ambassador Miller congratulated Mamunur for his innovative support of women microentrepreneurs and environmental sustainability. He praised the women for their entrepreneurial spirit saying, "Microentrepreneurs/microbusiness owners like you are key to Bangladesh's efforts to become a middle-income country . As more Bangladeshi women are empowered to create employment and livelihood opportunities for themselves and others, they boost/foster economic prosperity for their families and their communities.
