Description
Deutsch: "Das Stadtwappen von Alt-Strelitz zeigt im Schilde das vereinte von Dewitsche und das Gräflich Fürstenbergsche Wappen. Es hat links, von den drei dewitschen Bechern einen ganzen und einen halben, und rechts von dem genannten Schilde des gräflichen Wappens einen Teil aufgenommen und beide Bilder im gespaltenem Schilde verbunden. So war seine ursprüngliche Gestalt, in dem neuen Siegel von Alt-Strelitz ist der halbe Becher weggeblieben, und an die Stelle der Routen sind Fahnen getreten." [L.
