Omschrijving: Aanzicht van links vóór op de Alte Pinakothek, gebouwd door architect Leo von Klenze tussen 1826-1836 in opdracht van Lodewijk I die daar, evenals in de tegenover liggende Neue Pinakothek, zijn kunstverzameling aan de openbaarheid wilde tonen. In WO II sterk beschadigd en heropgebouwd tussen 1952-1957 door architect Hans Döllgast.
