| Description |
English: Alrewas House, Main Street, Alrewas, Staffordshire. A former resident tells me that the house was built for Joseph Cartwright in 1888. The smaller house to the right that looks like a converted coach-house is in fact modern; there was a planning application for a house here in 2004. The stables were at the bottom of the garden, towards the canal, and there was a tennis court in the garden. |
