Deutsch: Die Reuss und die Lorze bilden kurz vor ihrem Zusammenfluss ein Feuchtgebiet von ökologisch hohem Wert, weil es eine Vielzahl verschiedener Lebensräume bietet. Deshalb ist es als Amphibienlaichgebiet wie auch als Auengebiet von nationaler Bedeutung geschützt.
Français : La Reuss et la Lorze forment, peu avant leur confluence, une zone humide d'une grande valeur écologique, car elle offre une multitude d'habitats différents. C'est pourquoi elle est protégée en tant que site de reproduction des batraciens et zone alluviale d'importance nationale.
English: Shortly before their confluence, the Reuss and the Lorze form a wetland of high ecological value because it offers a variety of different habitats. It is therefore protected as an amphibian spawning area as well as a alluvial zone of national importance.
