Nederlands: Allegorische voorstelling met de vrouwelijke personificatie van de Amsterdamse Kamer van de Verenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie gezeten op een troon. Op het hoofd draagt zij een schepenkroon, in de rechterhand een zwaard met lauwerkrans, in de linkerhand boeken en documenten. Achter de troon Mercurius, links een zittende vrouw met een hond en een sleutel, rechts een vrouwelijke personificatie met een roer in de handen. Rechts twee putti, Neptunus en een galei bij twee zuilen. Vervaardigd naar een penning uit 1702 geslagen ter ere van het eeuwfeest van de VOC.


English: Allegorical representation with the female personification of the Amsterdam Chamber of the Dutch East India Company seated on a throne. On her head she wears an alderman's crown, in the right hand a sword with laurel wreath, in the left hand books and documents. Behind the throne Mercury, on the left a seated woman with a dog and a key, on the right a female personification with a helm in her hands. On the right two putti, Neptune and a galley near two columns. Made after a medal from 1702, minted in honor of the centenary of the VOC.
