De huwelijksgod Hymen staat voor zijn tempel en ontvangt het paar en haar gevolg van nimfen, faunen en maenaden. Boven in de lucht zweeft de handelsgod Mercurius. Rechts zit Minerva, die op het paar wijst. Putti tonen haar stoffen, die de handel van het echtpaar in stoffen symboliseert. Onder de voorstelling het devies: Oppugnent Alii Hic Solus De Corde Triumphat. Ets en gravure naar eigen ontwerptekening, gesigneerd en gedateerd.
