Ernaast staat Matteus, die een bijbel op de rug van de stier (symbool voor Lucas) vasthoudt. Op de bijbel zit een arend (symbool voor Johannes). Op de voorgrond zit een gevleugelde leeuw (symbool voor Marcus). Onder de afbeelding het impressum.
