Summary[edit]

Description The tower and chancel are fourteenth century. The south aisle, rebuilt in 1490, is considered a treasure of English church architecture. The church contains a chained book of 1609, A Defence of Bishop Jewel's Apology of the Church of England and, on the wall, a notice concerning the Oath of Allegiance sent by King James I to all churches in England.
