Summary[edit]

Description The structure of the church is largely from the 14th century though the Aisle and much of the detail work dates from the 15th century and the chancel was rebuilt during the 19th century. Being on low land, and close to the sea, there are many water courses in the village and, until recently, they surrounded the church. A small plaque on the west wall commemorates the great flood of 1606. The church was under five feet of water and there was devastation all round the Bristol Channel coasts.
