Summary

[edit]
Description The pier caps were placed on top of the columns and had to simultaneously line up with reinforcing steel from two adjacent columns. The alignment was checked with a jig. The two photos show workers using a steel jig placed on top of the neighboring column to insure proper alignment as part of the FHWA, Highways for LIFE supported new construction project with GDOT.
