Description The ends of the slabs were placed on elastomeric bearing pads after careful longitudinal and transverse alignment during the FHWA, Highways for LIFE demonstration with MDSHA of innovative technologies for a bridge on MD 28 over Washington Run. Each slab was specific to a bridge and location on the bridge.
