Alguna vez me contaron una teoría (era más una idea, quizás una historia... o una anécdota) que dice que, en todo el mundo, las casas "al otro lado de las vías" son las más pobres, las de los migrantes, las de la gente a la que le cuesta conseguir empleo, etc. Las personas de "este lado" tienen dificultad para ir "al otro lado" porque tienen miedo: de que los roben, de que los maten, de que los secuestren, etc. Los de aquel lado no pueden venir a este lado porque hay burlas, prejuicios y policías. El chiste es que las vías, tan pequeñas y aparentemente insignificantes, se convierten en un muro infranqueable que se extiende por kilómetros y que ni siquiera permite que la gente que vive a ambos lados se mire. |
