Al-Bara first pyramidal tomb

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The larger of two sixth century tombs with a pyramidal roof. This one has bands of acanthus leaf decoration around the upper parts, as well as on the lintel over the entrance, where a chi-rho symbol indicates it's Christian. Inside are five sarcophagi, also well-decorated.
