Coconut is the large nut of a tropical tree called coconut palm. It grows inside a hard shell and contains a soft white substance that can be eaten and juice that can be drunk.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: First of all coconut is a water nut. In herb medicine it is used for body therapy like cosmetics and massage issues. Coconut oil is popular in body enhancement creams and soaps.

In addition, coconut water and chewing of the nut itself offer sugary elements needed for energy and in turn serve as antidote to poison or intake that might disturb or cause breakdown of the body systems. Coconut is a strong antidote like palm oil and okpete pulp water.

In rituals, coconut is used to engage in symbolic healing and transfer of forces. For example, a new baby having a soft head or unbalanced head shape, coconut is used to press on the head and prayers rendered to transform to be strong as the coconut is. Body therapists or teaditional midwives or dibia will masterfully achieve the result.
