Summary[edit]

Description Front section of a Douglas F3D-2 Skyknight fighter (cn 8132, BuNo 127074) at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, New York City (USA), in August 2000. The aircraft is painted in the colours of U.S. Navy fighter squadron VF-14 Top Hats which flew the F3D-2 in 1954 from the USS Intrepid (CVA-11) as part of Air Task Group 201 (ATG-201).
