English: Col. Cory Mendenhall, a Bonners Ferry, Idaho, native, and commander of the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, unveils the commander’s cup – a trophy presented to the winning team at the conclusion of the “Warrior” brigade’s first “Warrior Challenge.” The challenge was a weeklong event that allowed teams of Soldiers to duke it out with fellow troops within the brigade during a variety of sports and physical activities at Fort Hood, Texas, June 30 – July 2. Although the competition was close, the Company B “Diamondbacks,” 4th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st ACB, 1st Cav. Div., ended up taking home the commander’s cup. (U.S. Army photo by Spc.
