| Description |
English: Ecologically valuable old tree that characterizes the park.Trunk diameter approx. 1.4 meters, approx. 38 meters high. Age estimated to be at least 150 years. The tree is in this park area as well as in the entire city area due to its growth form, its absolute rarity and beauty a particularly outstanding and concise appearance. A development up to 40 meters in height is considered a specialty in Europe. Due to the leaf mass and the possible habitats in the crown and in the wood itself, this sycamore maple is of particular ecological value.
Deutsch: "Ökologisch wertvoller und den Park prägender Altbaum. Stammdurchmesser ca. 1,4 Meter, ca. 38 Meter hoch. Alter schätzungsweise mindestens 150 Jahre. Der Baum ist in diesem Parkbereich sowie im gesamten Stadtbereich aufgrund seiner Wuchsform, seiner absoluten Seltenheit und Schönheit eine besonders herausragende und prägnante Erscheinung. Eine Ausprägung bis 40 Meter Wuchshöhe gilt in Europa als Besonderheit. Aufgrund der Blattmasse sowie der möglichen Lebensräume in der Krone und im Holz selber, ist dieser Bergahorn von besonderem ökologischem Wert."
