English: Afon Taf below Gwal-y-filiast At the point at which the Afon Taf flows past Gwal-y-filiast, the river starts to flow with greater force and the sound of the rushing water is highly audible from the burial chamber. This change in the river's character may have dictated the tomb's location; other inland prehistoric sites are similarly placed. |
