Description
English: From left to right, U.S. Army Spc. Simone Ramsey and Spc. Brittany Kabe, both with the Female Engagement Team, 4th Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, and Afghan Col. Abdughani Totakhil, the commander of the Paktia province Police Administration, present certificates of appreciation to the first females to climb the ranks of the Afghan Uniform Police at Combat Outpost Justice, Paktia province, Afghanistan, Sept. 5, 2013. Eleven females completed the advanced eight-week training course where they learned basic infantry skills, conducted personnel searches and qualified with an M9 pistol and AK-47 rifle.
