Summary[edit]

Description View of the Japanese Prisoner-of-War camp Tokyo No. 2B, at Kawasaki, Japan, in late August 1945. After the original camp had been destroyed in a raid by USAAF Boeing B-29s on 25 July 1945, the POWs moved to the Nisshin Flour Mill. The photo was taken by a U.S. Navy Vought OS2U Kingfisher reconnaissance plane from the heavy cruiser USS Quincy (CA-71).
