Description Tourane Airfield, Indochina (Da Nang, Vietnam), showing the newly constructed metal mat parking area on northeast side of runway. New construction is visble in the foreground, the taxiway in the background. The camera is pointed northwest. Visible are 25 Vought F4U-7/AU-1 Corsairs, four Grumman F8F Bearcats and a single Douglas C-47 Skytrain.
