Summary[edit]

Description
E. (Jakob Ferdinand Schreiber in Esslingen).
    • Illustrationen: Der Illustrator/Künstler/Autor der Kunstwerke ist unbekannt.
  • Nationalsozialistische Propaganda, die sich an Kinder richtet; NSDAP-Werbung; Papierpuppen/Spielzeugsoldaten aus den 1930er Jahren; Ausschneidebogen; Bilderbogen; Schreiber-Bogen; Kinderspielzeug; Sturmabteilung (SA); NSDAP; Deutschland Erwache; NS-Propaganda; Das nationalsozialistische Deutschland; Nazi Deutschland; Drittes Reich

English: "Adolf Hitler with staff, flag, and standard. Saluting Sturmabteilung personnel."(German text in Fraktur typeface)
  • A printed sheet featuring uniformed leaders and members of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP).
    • Color lithograph approximately 36 x 42 cm. The sheet can be used to create paper dolls that, when properly cut and folded, can be set up in a marching formation. The figures had to be folded along the dotted lines and could then be either glued or simply set up.
    • The uncut paper figures depict paramilitary uniforms of the Sturmabteilung (SA) and Schutzstaffel (SS). Top row shows a drawing of Hitler in brown party uniform with a bandolier and extended right arm in a Nazi salute, flanked by an upright SS officer with adjutant cords (aiguillette), a high ranking SA officer, and two SS officers in all-black Dienst- und Paradeanzug; middle row displays flag bearers holding banners with swastikas and slogan "Germany Awake!" (Deutschland Erwache), and guard personnel in SS uniforms (Traditionsanzug with brown shirts and black caps and breeches), standing at attention, and bottom row features marching or parading SA men, brownshirts with brown kepi caps and riding breeches, with their arms raised in a Hitler salute.
    • Published around 1933 by J. F. S. i. E. (Jakob Ferdinand Schreiber in Esslingen).
    • Illustrations: The illustrator/artist/author of the artworks is unknown.
  • Nazi propaganda aimed at children; NSDAP advertising; Paper dolls/toy soldiers from the 1930s; Cut-out sheet; Picture sheet; Schreiber sheet; Children's toy; Schutzstaffel (SS); Sturmabteilung (SA); Nazi Germany; Third Reich.
