This photograph is included in an album that belonged to Ancil F. Haines, Vice President and General Manager of The Admiral Oriental Line (previously known as The Admiral Line). The handwritten captions beneath the photos are presumably written by Mr. Haines.

Written in white ink on album page: Admiral Oriental Line, Yokohama Office, October 1925. Admiral Oriental Line is first to move into permanent office since 1923 quake. Temporary wooden bldg. to the left is our old quarters since the quake, AL being also first steamship company to reopen after the quake (Sept. 26, 1923).
