Title
Administration Building at Ohio State University
Description
This is a picture of the Administration Building, also known as University Hall, on the campus of the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. When Ohio State opened in 1873, this was the first building on campus. It was used as a classroom building, library, administrative office building, and it had apartments for faculty and dormitory rooms for male students. The building was deemed unsafe in 1968 and was torn down in 1971. The building was rebuilt with some of the same features and in almost the same spot. It was completed in 1976.
