Afrikaans: Mnr H. Malan staan voor 'n kremetartboom wat in 1955, d.w.s. 66 jaar tevore, geplant is by wat tans Baobab Farm Cottages naby Marnitz, Limpopo is. Die boom is iewat groter as ander wat dieselde jaar padlangs geplant is en nie die voordeel van tuinwater gehad het nie. Daar is sowat 35 kremetartbome op die plaas, en in 2022 was mnr Malan besig om 'n kremetart-tot-kremetart-staproete uit te lê.
English: Mr H. Malan standing in front of an Adansonia digitata tree planted in 1955, i.e. 66 years before, at what is now Baobab Farm Cottages near Marnitz, Limpopo. The tree is somewhat larger than others planted nearby in the same year, which did not have the benefit of garden water. There are some 35 baobab trees on the farm, and in 2022 Mr Malan was laying out a Baobab to Baobab hiking route. |
