English: Access road to Fixby Water Treatment Works, off New Hey Road, Fixby The treatment works is right at the top of the hill, so presumably the water can flow by gravity to most of the various service reservoirs. The building was designed by Whicheloe & Macfarlane and built in 1964. (Pevsner, 1967) |
