Description

This plate was obtained in Abu Dhabi decades ago. It does not appear to come from any of the other Arabian Peninsula states. I have checked websites and I know pre-UAE plates were usually black on a white background just plain Arabic serial numbers like this one. May this be a commercial, temporary, dealer or what??? Does anyone know out there??? Number is 6403. PS someone told me it was a taxi plate.

NOTE: Someone recently told me this could have been a commercial plate from the Truccial states and could also be from Dubai or any ot the former Truccial States which on December 2 1971 became the United Arab Emirates and is probably from the 1950's. I know that by the 1960's Dubai plates had a simple plate like this but the name "DUBAI" in arabic appeared on the plate as well.
