Rückseite: SERUS IN COELUM REDEAT // FRATRE REGIS RESTITUTO / MDCCLCCVII [Spät möge er in den Himmel zurückkehren. Auf die Genesung des königlichen Bruders 1777]. Rechts sitzt eine Schicksalsgöttin (Parze), die im Arm einen abgesponnenen Rocken hält, dessen letztes Ende sie mit dem Faden eines neuen Spinnrockens verknüpft, den ihr der geflügelte Lebensgenius des Prinzen auf einem Schild darreicht. Kommentar: Der 1726 geborene jüngere Bruder Friedrichs II. war 1777 an einer Lungenentzündung erkrankt. Möglicherweise war Friedrich II. hier der Auftraggeber der Medaille. Prinz Heinrich war einer der erfolgreichsten Feldherrn Friedrichs II. Literatur: T.
