Blumenstine, 32 South Thirdstreet, is the proud possessor offootprints Abraham Lincoln oncemade and signed so he could geta pair of shoes to fit him.* * * 20 YEARS HHHE footprints were made by* Lincoln on December 13, 1864,and showed that his right footwas twelve inches long while hisleft foot was a quarter of an inchlonger. The Civil War President mayhave been suffering from a bun-ion or something like that at thetime, because at one place on theright foot, a slight bulge is shownwith the notation that the widthat that point was eight inchesinstead of seven and a half in«hesless than an inch away.
