Abkhazia, 2009 

"В решающий вечер отплытия задул восточный ветер..
- Конечно, мы рискуем попасть в штиль этой ночью, - говорил Муми-папа. - Мы могли бы выйти сразу после обеда. Но в этом случае мы должны дождаться заката. Начало путешествия так же важно, как первые строки в книге: оно определяет все. - Он сел на песок рядом с Муми-мамой.
- Посмотри на лодку, - сказал он. - Посмотри на 'Приключение'. Лодка в ночи - чудесное зрелище. Штормовой фонарь сияет на мачте, берег исчезает за спиной, в то время как целый мир погружен в сон... - вот так надо начинать новую жизнь. Ночное путешествие прекраснее всего на свете.
- Да, ты прав, - согласилась Муми-мама. - Поездку совершают днем, а в путешествие отправляются ночью."
