| Description |
English: Aberbeeg railway station (site) Opened in 1852 by the Monmouthshire Railway & Canal Company on the line from Newport (Gwent) to Ebbw Vale (which is on the site of previous industrial tramways), this station closed in 1962. It had been the junction for Ebbw Vale (left) and Abertillery (right). The passenger service resumed to Ebbw Vale Parkway in 2008 but Aberbeeg was one of the stations that didn't reopen at the time. |
