English: Abbey Lighthouse, River Lune. The lighthouse is on the northern end of Plover Scar, a sandstone outcrop jutting into the Lune Estuary and a hazard for shipping using Glasson Dock 3km upstream. The lighthouse is just accessible by foot on very low tides. |
