Summary[edit]

Description
English: Abandoned building west of Great Snarehill Belt It appears to be an abandoned military building. This area forms part of the Shadwell Estate. Shadwell stud and estate, previously owned by the Musker family, was bought by H H Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum twenty five years ago. Besides Nunnery Stud (500 acres with accommodation for 250 horses, facilities for foaling and boarding mares during the season) and the 231 acres Beech House Stud near Newmarket where thoroughbred race horses are being bred and trained, there is also the Melton Paddocks complex which is home to the world's finest Arab stallions. The estate also owns a breeding herd of Aberdeen Angus Cattle which is based at High House Farm in Kettlebaston near Ipswich. High House Farm forms part of Salsabil Stud which is a division of Shadwell Stud's thoroughbred racehorse breeding. Besides a number of stud farms the estate owns farms surrounded by extensive areas of pasture, arable and woodland, some of which open to walkers although not publicly advertised.
