English: Territories of the Imperial City of Aachen (Aix-la-Chapelle, Aken) and the Imperial Abbey of Kornelimünster (St Cornelius Münster). Both self-ruling territories were Imperial Estates and had seat and voice at the Imperial Diet of the Holy Roman Empire. Cropped from a map published in 1702 by French cartographer Guillaume Sanson titled Le Duché de Iuliers, l'Abbaye de Sr. Cornelis Münster, la Baronie de Wickrad, et la Ville Imperiale d'Aix la Chapelle. |
