English: A view down a combe towards Compton Bassett This is a complex square containing several combes as well as wooded areas and a ling distance trail (the White Horse Trail). There are strip lynchets on the steep north-west facing side of the combe at the left of the image. The wooded area in the centre-right of the image is named on the maps as Blackwell Wood. |
