DescriptionA unique fight against cancer 110609-F-GY869-095.jpg |
English: Evan Wageman, son of U.S. Air Force Major Richard Wageman, 33rd Special Operations Squadron, helps Ryan Sherman pump up his tire as the Texas 4000 cyclists prepares to leave Clovis, N.M., for day seven of their trek, June 10, 2011. The Texas 4000 is the world's longest charity ride in the world, where students from the University of Texas travel 4,500 miles from Texas to Alaska to raise funds for cancer research. They cyclists stayed the night in Clovis and were treated by many of Cannon Air Force Base's Airmen to a home cooked meal and a place to sleep. |
