It is composed of aspider and clamping ring, which are drawn together byeight f-inch bolts and clamp 190 commutator bars sepa-rated by mica insulation .04 inch thick. The commutatorbars are insulated from the spider and clamping ring bymica rings -jV inch thick. 74. Begin by drawing the clamping ring, locating its hor-izontal center line 4; inches below the upper border line andits vertical center line 2f inches from the left-hand borderline. Leave a space of ^; inch between the two views.
