Summary[edit]

Description
English: A symbolic stone in St Andrew's Churchyard There is a good variety of old stones in this graveyard in Peebles. This one displays a symbol of immortality in the form of a splendid winged soul. The skull, hourglass and crossed bones are symbols of immortality. The stone is inscribed Fugit Hora (time flies) and Memento Mori (remember death).
