| Description | A single showcase with orgami paper cranes was placed a little away from the rest of the lot, but although the lighting is not perfect, thanks to the harsh mid day sun directly overhead, this half hearted attempt at photographing it probably indicative of my disgust and fould mood after seeing the senseless death of thousands of innocent children following America's senseless dropping of the atom bomb over Hiroshima and Nagasaki (I did not go there) during WW- II in 1945. Granted that the Japanese were not angels either, and had committed several atrocities as well during the war, especially in Thailand, Malaysian Borneo etc. but although a revenge attack by the US probably had it's arguments, the logic of flattening an entire city and killing off it's residents who had nothing to do with the war and were simply going about their daily business really beats me. I am in the atom bomb memorial- the Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima, Japan, where I am standing next to the Childrens' Peace Memorial which commemorates the children killed in that attack.
