Description
English: Patenga is a sea beach of the Bay of Bengal, located 14 kilometres south from the port city of Chattogram, Bangladesh. It is near to the mouth of the Karnaphuli River. Patenga is a popular and renowned tourist spot. The beach is very close to the Bangladesh Naval Academy of the Bangladesh Navy and Shah Amanat International Airport. Most visitors come to Patenga Beach as it is known for having some of the most stunning sunsets and sunrises in Bangladesh.
বাংলা: পতেঙ্গা বাংলাদেশের চট্টগ্রাম শহরের সমুদ্র সৈকত যা কর্ণফুলী নদীর মোহনায় অবস্থিত বন্দর নগরী চট্টগ্রাম থেকে প্রায় ১৪ কিলোমিটার দক্ষিণে অবস্থিত। পতেঙ্গা চট্টগ্রাম শহরের একটি জনপ্রিয় পর্যটন কেন্দ্র। শাহ আমানত আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর এবং বাংলাদেশ নৌ বাহিনীর ঘাঁটি বিএনএস ঈসা খান পতেঙ্গার সন্নিকটে অবস্থিত। এছাড়া চট্টগ্রাম বন্দরের অনেক জেটি এইখানে অবস্থিত। এছাড়া জনপ্রিয় পতেঙ্গা সমুদ্র সৈকত ও বাংলাদেশ নেভাল একাডেমি এইখানে অবস্থিত। জোয়ারের সময় ঢেউয়ের আঁচড় যেন নয়নাভিরাম দৃশ্যের অবতারণা করে। চট্টগ্রাম বন্দরের জন্যে অপেক্ষমান সারি সারি ছোট বড় জাহাজ এইখানের পরিবেশে ভিন্নতা নিয়ে আসে।
