Description
Português: Diz a lenda que em uma tribo indígena da vasta floresta amazônica a filha de um cacique apaixonou-se perdidamente pela lua. A paixão a consumia de tal forma que todas as noites ela buscava uma forma de toca-la. Em uma noite de lua cheia, a filha do cacique, viu o reflexo da lua através do rio e se jogou no desejo de alcança-la. Quando os índios da tribu pensaram que a filha do cacique havia se afogado surgiu uma bela flor branca em meio as águas escuras a qual chamaram de "flor de lotus" em homenagem ao nome da filha do cacique.
