Description
English: This is a model of the first locomotive built by the Clyde Engineering Co in 1907. It is a "T" Class No 356 not a "P" Class, it was renumbered to 5096 in 1924 and is now in the Rail Transport Museum at Thirlmere. It was presented to a Minister of Railways. I have been trying to read the Plaque for some time to find out who the gentleman was. It may be Carruthers? Location of model is unknown. RJD
