acetate is oxidised with ferric chloride or atmospheric oxygen. No change.Non-oxidisable dyestuffs. Group I. Nitroso, nitre, and azo dyestuffs, includingazoxy and hydrazo colours. Original colour returns.Re-oxidisable dyestuffs. Group II.Indogenide and quinone imide dyestuffs. No further change than with hydrochloric acid alone.
