| Description |
English: A lone bunker north of the abandoned military camp. This is a type 28 pillbox, with a light anti aircraft gun pit in the centre. The pillboxes at this site are extremely well preserved. This one would have been to defend the reserve radar bunkers, which were located to the north of the main Chain Home radar site. The bunkers are difficult to locate unless you know their location, but then, I suppose that was the point. |
