| Description |
English: There is a large crowd of people gathered outside a Plunket room. The crowd of people are dressed in formal attire. There is a man standing in front of the crowd, holding papers, and possibly presenting a speech. There is a large clock attached to the building. There are two palm trees in front of the building, planted on either side of it. There is a New Zealand flag flown on a pole on the roof of the building. There is a plaque that is attached to the building near the entrance that reads "ERECTED BY THE RESIDENTS OF THE DISTRICT AND DEDICATED TO THE PIONEERS 1938". This is possibly an opening of a new Plunket room in Wellsford. |
